different times....

and if they did it in the 90's don't you think their marketing department has made note of that. The business model is probably not exactly the same as it was 10 years ago...

I got a feeling they'll be in the market a couple more years and we will be seeing a progression in product quality....

Also keep in mind that although most the people on this site get 50+ days on the season and is not indicative of snowboarders as whole, so although our segment of the market would tear these boots up...the 20 - 30 day/season people may not put as much wear on these boots. And even here, there are a few owners of the boot with no complaints....

I think the only reason i'm defending nike this bad is because I'm a hard core sneakerhead with like 40 pairs of unworn jordans, nikes, and other kicks....

maybe if they used the Jordan trademark instead....hahahahhaa

Also look at the shops that carry them, you have to carry the full Nike SB. That eliminates distributorship because the buy in is more than Burton.

I'm waiting for Easy Spirit to come out with a boot line. I bet they'd be the most comfortable boots ever that will enhance that feeling of floating on powdery clouds.

I've seen Chuck's looking boots before...trying to remember the brand.

I have got to find me some of these:

I've got a pair of the New Balance boots coming for this season..... If they are anything like their runners, then they will be dialed.

As for Nike, Well I have mixed feelings.... If they do for snowboarding like they do for Skateboarding, then it may not be so bad. I hated it at first, but the shops that got the SB program actually got to make some money for once.

I don't hold the New Balance boots in high regard there's some features I'd have liked addressed. But they're a solid start for a first year boot.

I got them for FREE and said I would run them if they fit well, if they suck.... I will give them to some kid with a 8.5 shoe that cannot afford boots and wants to shred
