Your right it is cold and windy, but the parks are some of the best in the area. and if you catch breck at the right time it is excellent
haven't hit Keystones park yet this year...went there early season and it was sick over 20 jibs..but the jump blew
I said it has a good park! I'm not much for park tho, and I'm not a big fan of Breck's non-park options... When I was 10 I really liked 6 Chair, though.
And I live out in the boonies, so the lift lines and crowds are waaay too much for me. The weekends are just insane! So, no matter how awesome the Breck park is, I'd rather be at one of my local parks, which are pretty damn nice and have absolutely no people around to witness me making an ass of myself... and hop right back on the lift with no line to make an ass of myself all over again.

Shredbetties man you need a good swift kick in the ass.... Your all over the board dude, the crowds are going to be there because its a Vacation destination... that's all part of riding a world class resort. your little boonie MTNs are fun I will give you that but there is no way they can hold a candle to the perfect conditions you can find at brecky on a good day. I am sorry to bust your balls but dude you really need to pull you head out out your butt ox... For reals dude... And half the allure of riding in the park is to make an ass out of your self in front of others... It pushes you to become a better park rider. Just my 3 cents I guess.... If Breck is not for you try The Stoner or A- Base, less people on most days and last week when I was there the park was way better than brecks. The Stone is my home Mtn and I love it (I love all the Co. Mtns though)
Happy shreds fools........
Oh yeah almost forgot to mention that this letter is comming from my condo at the base of Whistler.... Be jealous I would be!
Lol
Have a safe and fun week every one

Yeah.... I'm not a "man" or a "dude"...
And sheesh, do you own stock in Breck or something? Why get your panties in a bunch? Lots of people hate Breck. I'm sure lots of people hate my current home mountains, too (Aspen in particular seems to generate some disgust)... I've even heard a rumor that some people hate Whistler.
I grew up in Boulder, so I've spent a lot of time in Breck. If you asked 12-year-old me I would have said it rocked, but now it just irritates me. I just cant handle all the waiting in lines. I don't want to have to stand in line to hit a jump, or to get on a lift, or to get my overpriced giant cookie at the lodge. Mmmm giant cookies.
And it's flat! When I lived in Denver, we called it Breckenflat. I don't think that was like, a silly pun that meant it wasn't flat.
As for crowds, anyone who's driven I-70 from Denver on a weekend can assure you that the crowds are not just your typical vacation destination crowds. Its just a bit too close to all those city folk. Good thing I live in the boonies and go to "little" mountains.

Go to the Stone for less of a crowd are you serious? Its the "Family Friendly" resort of Summit County its way more crowded than Breck.
Someone that lives in Pueblo really has no room to talk about whats good or what's crowded up here.

First off dumb ass I am full on serious..... How long have you lived in Colorado? Just wondering because I am a local and have been my whole life.... I have been riding summit for 20 years so I think I have a little bit of knowledge about that area... and yes I live in pueblo but spend 4 to 7 days of every week in Summit County... I live to ride so yeah I have plenty of "room" to talk about that area... I was not tryin to start a pissing match with you and your little online girlfriend, just tossing my 3 cents out there to all the people not from Colorado that might read what you idiots wrote and get turned off on riding Brecky. Because it really is a great place... And as far as the stone being a "family friendly resort" This year is the first year that is the case.... Any one who has been there before this season can vouch for that, it was a party MTN. And that's a fact... Vail Resorts pussied it up to make it more family friendly.... and that all happened this year... I have spent like 20 days there this season and about the same at breck. The lines at the stone are much much snorter once you get past that stupid new gondi they built.....
Sorry for the typos my left hand has 3 roken fingers on it..... Hope every one has a great week on the MTN

3 to 7 days a week. Hmm that might mean you actually live up here and not down in Pueblo where you're spending more time commuting than riding. I like the fact I can walk out my door and see Keystone, can you say that?
FYI Junior Keystone has always been the family friendly resort. Learn your snowboard history and why Keystone was one of the last to allow snowboarding. It didn't fit their "family friendly" image. How about the fact that out of all the other Vail Resorts with Slope Patrol thats the one that has the highest number of them?
Who the hell refers to it as Brecky, that sounds like shit a 15 year old kid would say.
I think you need to sit down, shut the fuck up, and realize people are going to have different views than your own on things. You seem to be overly butt hurt about "your" resorts.
