Hunter Mountain is the closest you will get to big mountain riding in New York. If you catch the right day, weather wise, the freeriding is super fun. Powder days are also fun. The previous reviews are correct with their description of icey conditions, then again, this is the "ice coast". Hunter is starting to step it up in their terrain park department this year and is starting to look better and better. Overall the quality for the price is on point. And it is close to everyone.
