I borrowed my friend's skate banana when I went to Colorado the other day. It's a 152 and I usually ride a 147, so obviously I planned to use it as a powder board.
I love the board, very stable, I never caught edge and no matter what I tried I couldn't seem to fall... well except for the times I got stuck in powder.
Unfortunately it's a bit too big for me, I cannot seem to get any speed on it... even though I did a killer job waxing it, so my friend is lucky and is getting it back.
Other than that... I am totally sold on the magne- traction + rocker technology.

have you tried any other rocker boards? a few weeks ago i tried the Never Summer SL-R, which has "rocker with camber", and i liked it. it felt a lot smoother than my current board, the Lib Tech Phoenix, because of the edge control i was getting between my feet. and then Hoon has those two reviews on his blog of the Burton Hero and the Nitro Sub-Pop... i know i want to get one of these boards, but which? :)
You were riding Breck on a Banana thats why you couldn't get speed. There's some vortex on that mountain that sucks the speed out of anyone riding a Banana.
from what I understand, Lib will be aquiring the patend on the bannana tech and magne traction so no other companies will be able to make them soon. again, this was something from the rumor mill (although a reliable scource) so dont shoot me.
