The secret to riding Mountain Creek and not wanting to kill yourself or anyone else is to get there when it opens and leave by noon. That way you avoid the crowds and 20 minute lift lines and get to ride the slopes before they get scraped to ice.

so true, so true. it also helps if you like the challenge of weaving through thick crowds of newbie riders, which i do sometimes. though it has gone horribly wrong in the past and i've clobbered some poor kids. they were ok though :)
