Is it just me or has Lib Tech just ripped off Never Summer's Rocker & Camber (R.C. Technology) for the new C2??????

★★★

Its the same thing for sure. I laughed when I found out they won an award for it.

Well, technically, Mervin came up with "camber" to begin with. So everyone actually followed them first. :) How Mervin decides to use camber, or other manufacturers use camber, they all are using Mervin Manufacturing's, technologies.

cough cough..... lame... cough cough

the idea that mervin came up with reverse camber is laughable.... terry kidwell 1985? water skis circa 1960s? surfboards circa 1950s?

camber invented by mervin? there's probably 20 ski companies that will debate that with you.

We all know what really matters is how it looks. Tech-schmeck

I agree, let's let this die. Obviously the concept of camber was invented long before it came to snowboarding, please keep in mind that this is a snowboarding website, so all of my words were in the scope of snowboards... Not waterskis, not the snurfer, not the cliche' of anyone who says they took a waterski and cut off the backs and went down some snow. Even Tom Sims said that if they had taken a waterski and put bindings on it, that it would have saved them 20 years of experimentation.

Amen to Holden1484's words... ["just go out and shred"] ... and shred on is what i will do...

just askin/lendin clarity to the conversation. no need for anyone to feel threatened. the original comment i think it is solid though. people should be allowed to discuss what is happenin from a marketing and tech perspective without one voice having to overshadow another voice. i think this is an intriguing discussion about how Hype plus some usable tech can be turned to one company's advantage over another company's.

in all honesty, i'm going to probably go back to rocking a regular camber board for most of 2010.
