I've got thick calves, small ankles, and wide feet. Usually doom for anyone seeking snowboard boots.

Old lacing systems were lacking - even the dual zone systems. You could not adjust the ankle and calf area of the boots separately, always leaving a substantial amount of heel lift unless you squeezed your calf to the point of cutting off circulation.

The Conda system is the first system that takes us poor folks with legs and feet that do not meet the standard proportions into consideration. With the ankle crank being totally separate from everything else, I can finally get a snug fit where my heel stays put.

The one problem I had with the boot stemmed from not properly securing the Conda to the front tongue. It slipped down one side of the boot and *really* started to crush my foot something nasty.
