I thought I had to break them in but it was just a matter of getting rid of the original insole. This boot is wider than my old Salomon F22's so I had either too much heel lift or my feet were killing me cause I pulled the laces to tight.
Problem is solved now I'm using Superfeet insoles: http://www.superfeet.com/activity/snowboarding/REDHot.aspx
I love the lacing system, not only is it fast and easy but lower and top section can be tight separately. I thought my F22's were light but these don't weigh anything! Might be not as stiff as I would like to but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I've changed my riding style in the last years anyway so it might work out just perfect :-)
