yeah i saw these on a blog the other day, it sounds like Nike thinks it can take some market cap away from Burton and the other big players.
if there's a company that can manufacture a costly manufactured boot that will still look stylish/sporty and appeal to people - Nike is the one that can do it.
But nike is not known as a snowboard company - so i'm still going to stick to my current.

well... I got them white Nike boots. I will review them on SHRED UNION as soon I made some turns with them.
Experience speaks volumes - I have to be suspect, because Nike has none in this area.
Experienced snowboarders know that your boots and bidings are the most important part of your ride.

interesting point.
however, Nike has all the resources in the world to do research and create a kick ass boot.
Another point NOT to be missed is their riders: Danny Kass, Louie Vito & Laura Hadar to name a few... they have experience and even though money talks, I don't think they would sign up for a shitty boot sponsor...
My experience so far, I have used them 3 days in Colorado and one day in Killington.... smooth as butter. Didn't hurt once... a bit harder to put on/ tie but once that part is done... you are set for the rest of the day. Like wearing your kicks!

Nike is a HUGE DONT once again DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT a company like nike has no place being in a core sport like snowboarding..... and on the team front, all three above mentioned riders can rip, but kass is a joke, an A$$hole and a money hungry POS im sorry if I offended anyone but when you start out as a really innovative rider who started (what was) a great company like grenade and turn that all into a rappers lifestyle, a TV show with lil john and how he takes a dirty stinky nasty jerk like the dingo who cant even really ride just to be his friend because has alienated all his other friends its all kinda lame... he dumped a great core company like vans just for the multi-million dollar contract.... and when he came to Loon mountain with the grenade games he was straight up throwing elbows to snake the line at the local night skiing rope tow all hammered swearing and drinking at a family orientated REC CENTER!!!!! im soryy i kind went on a little rant there eh? anyway this is my opinon of what a brand like nike will do to our beloved sport
the are two arguments to be made here - boycott corporate snowboarding (companies like nike that dont earn their respective market share but instead simply buy it) or simply boycott companies like nike that take advantage of the non existent human rights in places like china where the boots are made, which is basically the entire industry
so what do u feel like boycotting a corporation buying market share
or boycott all companies that operate in the exact same fashion and neglect human rights
its your choice

Pros:
Sweet Nike swoosh
uh.. I ran out
Cons:
Helping increase Nike's market share, and decreasing that of the the companies who work hard and really care about snowboarding.
Ahem.. Sweatshops
Hell.. whatever. I'm sure they're comfy. Do what you will but I'm not down. This is snowboarding not basketball!
