BURTON OZONE

A decent boot overall that works for me. Very light with a fast lacing system and reduced footprint

I'm still on a new pair as well (only worn on the slopes twice) but my first impressions are that I'm happy with them so far. The less weight (up until these I wore Burton Hails) is great. The fit and the cushioning is decent. And the flex is alright. I think if they were a little more stiff I would like them more. I have Union Force bindings so I think they make up for what the boots lack in stiffness. The lacing system is great. I got an 11.5 sized foot in snowboard boots so the reduced footprint lets me get a regular sized board and have no toe drag.

The only thing I am not too happy about is the fabric because it doesn't keep my foot as warm as the Hails did and my feet did get wet from some slush. But I try to stay out of slush anyway so I don't think it'll be enough of a problem for me to give them a bad rating. And my feet didn't get very cold or stay cold long since I move around a lot.

I would have liked to get the Ions but I got the Ozones a lot cheaper on one of those sites that sells one deal at a time. I'll see how they turn out to be when I wear them some more this coming season.
